“To not create is to not exist. I’ve been given a talent, a passion, this passion cannot be contained in my life. What you see externally is what I am experiencing internally.”

Curated Fine Art for a Well Designed Life

BIOGRAPHY

Robin is an indigenous woman who was born in Winnipeg, Canada. Self-taught and Naturally creative, Robin began gifting everyone her drawings and entering art contests from a very young age. Robin took every opportunity to develop her skills with after-school and weekend art classes. After losing her mother at the age of eight, her art then became her escape. Creating art extracted her from harsh realities, delivering feelings of anticipation, hope, and credence to her work. In high school, her teacher Mr. Larry Burdeny identified her unique talent and gave her free reign to create. Introducing her to various mediums enticed her to embrace innate artistic gifting. Years later, Robin held her first solo art show in 2014 in Winnipeg at the Frame Arts Studio, donating 100% of her profits to a non-profit. Mr. Burdeny, her art teacher, attended the show and publicly announced that “the student has surpassed the teacher”. Attendees were astounded by Robin’s self-discovery and discipline to create a proprietary encaustic medium. During Robin’s Premier Contemporary Art show, her work caught the attention of Howard Gurevich of Gurevich Fine Art, the Province of Manitoba Government curators, and the University of Winnipeg Art-fest and Culture Days curated departments. Before this career-launching show, Robin had already created several commissions and worked with designers in Seattle, Washington, for residential and commercial projects. To this day, Robin is a full-time multi-disciplinary creative based out of Honolulu, Hawaii as an established curator and artist, working on elevated projects for Fine Art Collectors from around the world.
